My Sweet Universe

I would love to live in the universe of the board game, Candy Land. First of all, living in a gingerbread house or an ice cream castle sounds like a fun experience. Having a marshmallow as a bed would be like sleeping on a fluffy cloud. Everywhere you look you would see bright colored candy scattered across the floor. Gumdrops would be growing out of the grass like plants in the normal world do. There’s a chocolate river that runs miles and miles through the little town. Villagers often travel on boats across it. I have to make sure that i don’t get lost in the, “Lollipop Woods” or the, “Candy-cane Forest” because they are one of the most largest forests in the world! Next, assuming that cavities and diabetes aren’t a thing in this world, every meal of the day would be made out of candy. For example, there would be gummy pizzas, hamburgers, tacos, and many more. Of course they would be made with artificial fruit flavors rather than the ingredients of the actual food. That would be gross. Also, Lord licorice is a guy everyone is scared of. He wants to take over candy land and turn everything into licorice. If I’m not careful, Lord Licorice might turn me into licorice! The weather there is always cold. But Gramma Nutt sews really warm coats and makes delicious cookies. Finally, my favorite part about this sweet universe is the fact that you can eat anything! If you’re hungry, just take a bite of your wall and your problems would be solved!

A Delicious Meal

I have a favorite food. On special holidays like Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, my family makes tamales. Tamales are a traditional Mexican food wrapped and cooked in corn husks. The masa (the main part of the dish) is mostly made of corn. It has a soft and squishy texture. On the inside of the tamales there is either, chicken, cheese, pork, and sometimes even sweet things like strawberries, but my favorite are the chicken ones. Tamales are eaten warm and when cooked well, they are delicious. The soft masa mixed with chicken make the perfect meal. My grandma makes the best tamales in the world! Everyone in my family has tried making tamales as good as hers, but everyone’s was never the same. In most Mexican games, the prize for winning is to make tamales for everyone in the family. Sadly I have never won a game but it is always fun to help out!

Andrea’s Fantasy Home

My dream home would be a huge six story princess-like castle in the middle of a forest. My first idea of the exterior was that a river would be on the outline of the castle with a giant bridge on the front it to help me get across. Next the castle would be built with stone bricks making it seem like a very old castle from long ago. There would be many towers sticking out of the main part of the castle with a long spiral staircases on the inside of them leading up onto a secret room where you could look out the window and enjoy the beautiful view. The roof should be a lovely shade of light blue. On the back of the castle there would be a massive pool connecting to the river. I would install many water slides to make my house feel like a water park on the back! Now moving on to the interior. Starting off, there should be about forty- seven rooms taking up most of the room in the house so that I can invite guests over. My friends, Kim, Sophia, Harmony, and many more would move in with me and customize their own room. As soon as you walk in, there will be two staircases. One leading to the left and the other to the right side. On the left side of my home, there would be a gaming room with many computers, TV’s, gaming equipment so that everyone could have a good time. In addition, a movie theater is needed on the first floor for entertainment! Next, I would hire my sister to work in my very own candy store called, “Andrea’s Superior Candy Store” where I sell every single type of candy in the world. On top of that, I would add my very own personal gym called, “Don’t be Lazy” on the second floor next to a mini grocery store. As you can tell, the left side of my dream house is a bit extreme, but the right side, on the other hand is fancy and luxurious just like a royal palace. The floor would be a shiny pearl white color with expensive carpets on top of it. As soon as you enter into the castle and turn to your right, you would see the most beautiful chandelier you have ever seen. Heading forward, you would see two giant white doors leading into a nice kitchen with many white cabinets and a big island in the middle. The kitchen would contain five refrigerators and six pantries so that the food doesn’t run out easily. A personal chef is needed for a big house like this one! Because this is a castle, a ballroom is expected. It will be used for special occasions such us weddings and big birthday parties. Next to the ballroom, a very fancy living room with comfortable vintage couches is provided so when guests are tired of dancing, they cause rest there. Finally, my bedroom is on the sixth right the middle of the left and right side. It would have a very nice chandelier and a ginormous bed for me to sleep in. If you lived in my dream home, what side would you want your room to be on?

A Nice Trip to Japan

I would love to travel to Japan! Ever since I was little I’ve anyways dreamed of going to small kawaii shops in Tokyo. I’ve watched many videos of people walking down the streets in Japan admiring how beautiful the country is. The food there is amazing and the buildings there are so fascinating! I love how the roofs of many buildings are curved at the corners and are mainly in bright colors. Cherry blossom trees are so pretty and Japan is full of them! Along with traveling to Japan, I really want to learn the language so I can make friends with people there!
